BUB Ranch Bulls are always forage developed, as a matter of fact we were one of the first ranches anywhere to push our bulls on forage and grow them without over fattening. Excess fat and protein can lead to foot, joint and fertility problems later on and may actually shorten the breeding lifespan of your bull. Feed costs have brought some challenges to the ranchers trying to develop and keep their young stock until adulthood. Feed costs are the reason we have continued to cull the bulls even harder. These bulls are worth a premium at weaning, and if they are not good enough to demand a premium as a bull and have something to add to a persons cow herd, then we can not afford to keep them. When looking at our bulls remember we have heavy muscled stock, please do not compare fat to muscle. Our bulls are in their working clothes, and that's the way you want them!
